tracking: day one

YES. Quite possibly one of the most fun things I have ever done. We were at Brad's home studio from 9 am to 3 pm and we got a lot done. It was rockin fun. We recorded guitar/vocals/synth/CHIMES for "In the Light," and guitar/vocals for "Mirrors."

Here is how the chimes on "In the Light" came to be. It's a very profound story...(*cough*)...Brad's dog was outside and she started barking, so he let her back in. As he went to get her, I noticed that there were windchimes hanging on the back door. I thought hey, now that would be cool. So we added them very subtly in two places on the song. And who was this master chimes player, you may ask? ANA. Yes, yes, Ana played chimes on my album. See, you should have come too. Maybe you would have gotten to play a random instrument on the album. You just never know.
